How Masseter relaxation works
Masseter Jeuveau® works by temporarily reducing the activity of the masseter muscle, the large chewing muscle at the back of the jaw. For selected clients this reduction in muscle contraction can ease clenching, relieve localized muscle tension, and produce a softer lower-face appearance over time. Effects are temporary and develop as the muscle responds to treatment.
Treatment is delivered during a focused session that includes assessment and the administering of the product into the targeted masseter area. The full appointment time at JuliethAesthetics is recorded as 30 MINUTES. Clients commonly feel only brief discomfort and expect local, short-lived effects while the muscle adjusts, but individual responses vary.
Who is a good candidate
This treatment is intended for selected clients who experience jaw clenching, persistent muscle tension, or a bulky lower-face appearance linked to masseter hypertrophy. Not everyone is appropriate: candidacy is determined during a clinical assessment that reviews your jaw function, facial anatomy, and aesthetic goals to decide if Masseter Jeuveau® could be helpful.
Masseter Jeuveau® is not a substitute for dental evaluation, a night guard, or treatment of joint disease. If you have jaw pain, suspected TMJ disorder, or dental issues, we will ask you to obtain or share a dental assessment so the aesthetic plan complements necessary medical or dental care.

JuliethAesthetics is located in Central Gilbert near E Warner Rd and S Gilbert Rd, convenient for clients coming off Loop 202 or visiting SanTan Village and the Heritage District. The clinic’s location makes it easy to schedule after-work or weekend visits for commuters from Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, Phoenix, Queen Creek, and San Tan Valley.
After treatment we review care and plan follow-up so you know when to report concerns and when to return for reassessment. How long a result lasts and when maintenance might be appropriate depends on each person’s muscle activity, lifestyle, and treatment response — we discuss individualized expectations during consultation.
