How Calf Jeuveau® works
Calf Jeuveau® uses a measured neuromodulator approach to temporarily reduce activity in selected calf muscles. By lowering contraction intensity in targeted motor units, the treatment can lessen muscle tightness and contribute to a slimmer-looking muscular contour. The clinician selects injection sites based on muscle size and activity patterns rather than cosmetic symmetry alone.
Results depend on baseline muscle tone, the pattern of use during walking or exercise, and any underlying neuromuscular conditions. Because gait and strength affect function, we assess walking mechanics and strength before treating calves so we can balance aesthetic goals with day-to-day mobility and safety.

Not everyone is a candidate; significant gait abnormalities, neuromuscular disease, or strength deficits require further medical evaluation and may preclude treatment. Our intake reviews medical history, current medications, and functional testing to determine whether the procedure’s temporary reduction in muscle activity is appropriate and safe.
What to expect during care
Appointments are focused and practical; the onsite evaluation and targeted injections are typically completed within a single 30 MINUTES session. Expect a focused discussion of goals, an assessment of calf strength and gait, and precise, localized injections. Bring footwear used for regular walking to help us evaluate functional effects.
After treatment we monitor gait and strength at follow-up visits and ask clients to report any new weakness or changes to walking. Because the treatment alters muscle activity temporarily, early feedback helps us adjust future plans and prioritize safety alongside cosmetic objectives.
